The two Indian pilots remain under arrest by Pakistan.

Meanwhile, a video has been released by Pakistan Army that shows the identity and related details of the captured Indian pilots.

“My name is Wing Commander Abhinandan and my service number is 27981,” the pilot says in a video statement.

“I am a flying pilot and my religion is Hindu,” he continues.

Upon probing for further information, the pilot refuses to speak saying, “I am sorry sir, that’s all I am supposed to tell you.”

Wing Commander Abhinandan then goes on to say, “May I request for a little information, sir? Am I with the Pakistani army?”

Meanwhile, Pak Army has also released pictures of the pilot’s confiscated documents and weapons:

How Pakistan Army treated him

Captured Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan said on Wednesday that the Pakistan Army treated him well, adding that the army personnel ‘were thorough gentlemen’.

The captured Indian airforce pilot was seen speaking in a video clip, where he said that he wanted ‘to bring this on record’ that he was being treated well. The Pakistan army ‘s behavior is quite professional and impressive, he added.

While responding to a question inquiring if the Indian pilot is being treated well in Pakistan, Abhinandan responded: “Yes, I have been. And I would like to put this on record that I will not change my statement if I go back to my country also.”

A video of the captured Indian pilot was released hours after the Pakistan Air Force shot down two Indian jets within the Pakistani airspace and arrested two pilots, one in injured condition. Moments earlier, Indian media confirmed an IAF wing commander is in Pakistan’s custody.

Meanwhile, India media reports stated IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan took off in a MiG 21 Bison jet and is yet to return. Wing Commander Abhinandan is the son of a retired Indian Air Marshal, the reports added.

The other pilot who was arrested in an injured state is under treatment at CMH, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor said during a press conference held after Pakistan’s retaliatory action to India’s aggression.
